FUCKING AMAZING GIG. thanks to all who came, special thanks to G & PSP, and Mark & IDOL Justice. both of whom played stunning sets. for those of you who weren't there, pictures will be up in the gallery soon hopefully. including some of Matt the hatt in his rather fetching wedding dress.
anything with past in the title will automatically go on to the past page (Axe Attack News)
21/07/05:O'NIELS
Here we have a good gig. a battle of the bands we never expected to win, being badly unrehearsed, haveing a gig in two days time, and unable to make the next heat anyway, we treated this as a bit of fun. we played to a cold audience, of which about 1/5th were ours, and the rest were there to see bands which weren't so loud, and weren't so aggressive. we didn't really take it seriously, and as a result, we played a blinder, with most of our emphasis on humour. we had the entire room really jumping with the music, and won the audience vote. unfortunately the gods of metal are disliked by the oppressive authorities for their rebel atitudes, and with fear that their thought police may be overturned by the power of axe attack, the barman decided some other band should win. the barmans decision is final.
